Dia del Niño, a celebration of Children’s Day in Mexico, is coming to Denver on April 28. The Mexican Cultural Center has partnered with the Denver Museum of Nature and Science to host this national holiday, which honors the joy, innocence, and fun that children bring. This special day is a time to share with all cultures and highlight the special place that children hold in Latino and Mexican culture.

The event will take place at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science starting at 9 a.m. on Sunday morning. It promises to be a dynamic and fun-filled day for everyone involved, with music, dance, and various activities for all ages to enjoy. Admission to Dia del Niño is free, with the added bonus of half off admission to the “Orcas” exhibit and Planetarium shows.

Rachel Garcia, Executive Director of the Mexican Cultural Center, emphasizes the importance of community engagement during this time of celebratory energy and excitement. She believes that Dia del Niño is an opportunity for people from all walks of life to come together and celebrate children’s happiness. With its rich cultural heritage and lively atmosphere, Dia del Niño promises to be a memorable experience for everyone who attends.
