Egypt introduces new customs facilities to streamline food imports

The Egyptian government is considering implementing a new set of measures to control the prices of various food items in the market. This includes extending a previous decision to exempt certain imported goods from customs taxes for a three-month period. This initiative aims to speed up customs clearance, reduce costs for manufacturers and merchants, and provide customs facilities for frozen meat, dairy products, and oils.
