Schmigadoon! was created by series creator and composer Cinco Paul, with direction and choreography by Tony Award winner Christopher Gattelli (Death Becomes Her, Newsies).

The TV series featured a diverse ensemble cast led by Cecily Strong and Keegan-Michael Key. It also included regular, recurring, and guest stars such as Fred Armisen, Dove Cameron, Kristin Chenoweth, Alan Cumming, Ariana DeBose, Jane Krakowski, Martin Short
